Tried one, no, but there have been several threads on different forums about it and should be a couple here on AGN. Pretty sure a member here bought and reviewed one. German parts, Italian stock, assembled in the US. Random guess is that RWS wanted shooters to associate it with the RWS 34 by calling it the RWS 3400. Looks similar but think more along the lines of the Walther Terrus/Parrus maybe??
If memory serves, Tyler Patner at PA posted (GTA I think??) about having one next to his desk he was testing, but they were a one off type of deal and once they were gone, there wouldn't be anymore, so future parts might end up very hard to get hands on short of finding something in the aftermarket that might work.

If you want a .177caliber , Numrich has the Diana 34 Classic in 177 at $199.95 plus tax , etc. I got one for $235 delivered. Shot it today for the first time and it's a good one. Very pleased. Here is the link to Numrich.
