Anyone try the 120$ Crosman Spectrum FFP Riflescopes?

Scope looks intriguing for the price. Has anyone tried these for pcp’s? Don’t know if the reticle has enough dots below center for shooting up to 100y.

I just realized the graphic image in the original post is messed up. With a First Focal Plane (FFP) scope, the size of the reticle should stay consistent with the size of the observed object at all magnifications, i.e. The horizontal bars of the reticle should stay at the same landmarks on the deer (nose, shoulder, belly) at both magnifications. This is why holdover calculations remains the same at all magnifications with a FFP scope. Crossman should hire artists who understand what they are painting, or simply use a real photograph.

Good catch. Unless the scope actually does appear that way, in which case better catch, the scope isn’t a true ffp. Excellent observation. +1 for you sir.

Quick test shot into the setting sun. 12 power, 8 power and 4 power. The reticle tracks as a FFP. hard to get focus and exposure and ...and..and all set. I will try for more definitive exposure when I can get the gun mated to the scope.
