Has Anyone Seen or Tried JSB KnockOut MkII's Yet?

I just saw the JSB KnockOut MkII skirted slugs on a review and was wondering whether anyone has seen these in the wild yet, or tried them out.

I've had reasonable luck with KnockOuts in some guns, and that little skirt, while likely not helping BC, looks like it might improve their performance in some more pellet-specific barrels.

Curious if the skirt would make them work in Original Smooth Twist barrels (not Smooth Twist X or any other FX barrel configuration, ONLY Original Smooth Twist barrels). If anyone tries & has success PLEASE POST about it!

EDIT: Ted has a video about the Mark2's. He shot them @ 100 yds out of an OST barrel & had good results so I ordered 1 tin as a tester. Results to follow at a later date.

I have MK II's in .25 and .22 .Have shot the .22 out of my Wildcat MK3 Sniper and they were more accurate than the MK I's. Shot out of the standard superior liner. I just got the .25's last weekend. Been accessorizing and tuning my new M3 in .25 600mm .I will take it out tomorrow and see how they do on paper and will compare them to the MK I too. At this time the .22 MK II only come in .2165. I will shoot these out of my .22 Impact MK2 700mm. I can test out to 100yds.

I tried the .25cal MKII's out last month with good results. Overall, I think they work better at lower speeds, which is where most guns are at. I shot the MKI's out of my Maverick Sniper around 950-980 with good results using a 700mm standard superior liner, so it's not that they were not accurate. I think I'm going to try them in my Crown .25cal this weekend, which with a 500mm barrle will only shoot them around 875. That is the speed where the MK2's in my earlier testing outdid the MK1's. I'll buy some MK2's in 22cal and see how they do next week. Here are some of the results I had with the .25cal

JSB KO .25cal MK1 vs MK2 - Airgun Nation

Here was my last windy weekend.

...Spent time Saturday having fun testing the new JSB Knock Out MKII in both .25 and .22 along with the original KO's as well. Since the wind was a consistent 7-20mph for the testing I limited my range to 51 yards.

Started with my new to me M3 .25 in the early morning, first time I have had it out of the workshop. Shot it as I received it tuned from the seller with the KO MKII. Nothing to write home about at this point, sorry. A 3 out of 10 Is the best I would say with this tune. Not sure what it was tuned for. Back in the case and to the workshop for some major goings over. Share something worthwhile next time when.

Out came the MKII 700mm, now converted to .22 from .25, ready to test the new JSB KO MKII’s. It was as I said, a windy day that escalated upwards to 20mph as it approached noon and diminished to 3-5 about 1pm when I left, of course. I shot the best I could under the circumstances, being pretty surprised at how well the new KO MKII shot in the wind at 51yds with a .25 caliber tune out of a .22 700mm. Each 5 shot group was straight from the tin with no waste shots (was one) to set the valve. First 5 shot group with the MKII's had a poi 4" @ 7:00 that wasn't on target. Just the nature of the Impact MKII and M3 as we know.

Was all in good fun and to give me a baseline. Here is what I have to share.

The MKII tune was: Hammer wheel was set to 9 on my new Mont 19 detent PW (awesome addition!). Hammer spring is adjusted to no play which is 14.13mm depth on Max. Valve adjuster set to 4 bars. Reg is set to 138bar. Standard FX probe has been modified to ½ moon for air flow. Barrel index is @ 3:30. Shooting @921FPS with both slugs. I think the KO MKII have a lot of potential here. Very impressed so far, but nothing special from me here.
