Well, how are they, how do they perform, are they a solid fit up, please elaborate on this bipod.
thank you.
thank you.
I’m using a warne skyline, I really liked the accu TAC but a local guy gave me a deal on the warne. So far it is my favorite over my Caldwells and Harris but mainly because it’s more adjustable and has pan.
Tom, I know you have lots of bipods and have tried lots more than those you own. I have various real (Accu Tac, Atlas and lots of Harris bipods) and fake bipods(never again though), my pride and joy is my Accu Shot, Atlas BT-35-LW-17 5-H bipod... However, as you know very well, the 5-H bipod is heavy, really heavy. It's all I ever want on my gun while at the bench but not when I'm in the field with my boys.
What would you recommend as the lightest, high quality bipod for everyday field use when I go out shooting with my boys? I want something very durable and reliable but I also want something light weight. My boys and I use bipods almost daily and would be lost without them, but none of us like shooting sticks or lugging around the tripod and gimbal head when we're in the field. We'd all rather just flop down on the ground and shoot prone with a bipod as our rock solid rest. That's probably from my 1000yd and PRS days, it works, so that's how I've taught my boys. I'm familiar with the Atlas and Accu Tac line up but I was wondering if there's something else out there that's really light weight. I've looked hard at the Atlas Cal as you know from previous discussions but I just haven't pulled the trigger. One caveat, before you say LRA, I've used the real deal, again, in my long distance shooting days (It was borrowed, not mine, so no, I can't sell it to you, it was sweet though...lol) so I'm leery of fakes even though it probably would fill the bill better than anything else out there??? Didn't you buy one? Anyway, any suggestions for a super light weight bipod would be appreciated.
Simply put, what would you buy for a durable, lightweight, rock solid bipod? Thanks bud.
