First throw at the cheek piece.

After some indoor testing and shooting, I decided that the magnets might not be the right solution for now. They hold the piece in place, but it has the tendency to fall when the gun is rubbed on you. So I made a first revision like in the next pic. I am waiting for the part to print but here is the CAD pic. On that version, it will be fixed with thin double sided tape. Now that the screws will be accessible, I do not need to be able to remove it.The size and the curve of the cheek piece can be customized to your needs. Mine now is a 7 mm rise.

Let me know what you all think.

Hey Guys,

I just made myself some mag holders, taking from Bizill really good idea. I also made a small Cheek piece to limit the really cold block in 20 degree weather.

If Bizill doesn't sell any I can. I can also provide the CAD file.

PM me.

You should have at least asked me to copy my invention. Especially for profit.

Bizill,

I apologize for not asking you. I am truly sorry for that.

I didn't copy your product, My intention, wasn't to duplicate yours, but something useful that I could print using the global idea of your holder for my own use. Also many people had said you didn't do it anymore and were asking for it.
I am not doing it for profit as you quoted "If Bizill doesn't sell any I can. I can also provide the CAD file." I already have 2 full-time jobs. I am doing it at night or on my days off probably like you used to do. You know how much time it takes to design, print and clean the parts. I cannot do it for free.

Again I am sorry if you think I stole your product. I know, I didn't. I used some of your idea, that yes. Good ideas are always reused and that is why a wheel is still circular.

I don't know how to say that it wasn't my attention to hurt what your started, but to provide something that the community is asking for and that you stop providing. So I didn't think about asking you.

Again sorry.

Respectfully

Eh, just don't FULLY copy them. What you offer is what is, and isn't what it isn't. You're not kidding about the 2 jobs thing and printing these holders not being lucrative. I had fun at first and was ecstatic to see people like my little creations. But after losing both my folks within 3 months, having 2 jobs already, and printing my holders got me to the point that I had to throw in the towel to keep my sanity.

My condolences for your losses, I just loss my mom and my youngest brother last year too. I understand the need to choose your priorities.
You should know that I never had access to your product. I was going to order one from you after finding a post of someone showing your product on there AG. The following commentS in that topic where that you weren't offering them so I made my own. I too, do it for the fun and challenge of finding new things to do. Being able to provide something that the community wants.
