Trenier Outdoors in Sparta wi can hook you up. They have a range and a bunch of guns I'm sure they would let you try out. I Live on the boarder of WI and MN and regularly make drives out there to shoot. If you want to drive another hour into MN I have a 30fpe .22, a 60fpe .22, 50fpe .25, 150fpe .357 and a 300fpe .357.

I'm in Janesville, not much more than 2 hours away. I only have 1 PCP gun, it's a Hatsan Flash.

It's a .22 caliber, they advertise 38 fpe. I like it pretty well. I live in town, so my shooting is very short range, about 15 yards. I have a 15 yard range in my basement as well. I can get nearly hole-in-hole shots at that range with JSB 18 gr pellets. 25 gr H&N slugs shoot pretty well at that short distance as well. I haven't had many chances to shoot it further than that. I went out last weekend, temperature in the mid 30's, and it was shooting pretty well up to about 30 yards. At 50 yards, the shots were going all over the cereal box target. I have a feeling that the weather was affecting the shooting quite a bit. I've shot at 50 yards before, even in cold weather, and the groups were within a few inches or so. And that was shooting by leaning up against a tree, no shooting table or anything. So I'm looking forward to warm weather again in the spring, so I can try some longer shooting again.

I live in central Wisconsin. About an hour and a half from Appleton. I have a good variety of stuff to shoot.
Up to 100 yards in my backyard now. 700 yards in summer ( for power burners, of course). Middle of March, on weekend would work for me.
