Just ordered one of these and curious what the max is for shot strings? I'm planning on using my phone plugged into it.
Up to 99 at least? And can you delete a shot if you need to?

I usally use my samsung tablet. I have run a string of 72. More often 48. I usually have all the data i need. By then. Sorry i didnt answer YOUR question. I dont know how many!

Yes, you can delete individual shots from a string.
I cant answer to max string length.
I'm mot a fan of this chrony. You really need to have it 8 feet away from the muzzle for it to consistantly work, that from many emails to tech support.

Never had any problems. [Except, getting a pellet too close to the sunshade %))

I love that you can download the app free and use it with the supplied cord. On the prochrony I think you need to buy the 60$ bluetooth adapter. Chrony offers nothing like that I think.

Snap, just ordered mine today, here Thursday.
Intend to use with my new Crown and my ipad.
There is a good spreadsheet on the AGN site, sadly it uses xcel macros so will not run on my ipad.
That spreadsheet though has direct link from the Caldwell!

Mine linked to ipad , everything fine bar one.
Version 1.8 should allow access to camera and photo album. Version 1.4 does. My ipad doesn't. Normally for ipad one has to allow the access , just like the microphone, but no option on my setup.
Anyone solved this issue?
Their helpline solved camera access issue, Use edit , top right, camera works with app perfectly.

What would consider the Ideal distance from the end of muzzle to the Chronograph? 5',10' 15' or 20 feet?

When I called tech support with unacceptable amounts of E'RE messages they told me 8' was optimal. That did seem to work ok.

Yeah just got it yesterday very happy so far, I got some cheap battery powered LED stick on lights and attached to the shades from my old Chrony. Works well and also works in the same spot that my other worked well inside with no shades.
Also using an old ipad and it's working well, getting good results at 3 feet and 10 feet so far. Some error messages but maybe 1 in 10 which can be my shot not centered too.
