This somewhat ugly gun has gotten my interest. I don't see much written about it, which could be good or bad - but the same thing was true when I got my Veteran Shorty a couple of years back. I'm not in any rush for another purchase, but I do enjoy the research and learning.
So how would you compare these two compact bullpups (Veteran Shorty vs. Uragan Compact)? From my experience the Veteran Short had no problem pushing JSB 18s to 900 fps but only got about 30-40 good shots at that energy level. Veteran has the sublime trigger. I think they use the same CZ barrels. They are both about the same length.
The Uragan Compact seems like it is ideal for the 16gr pellets but might be too weak for heavier pellets. How adjustable are the power options? Would I be able to bring it up to a 30fpe gun or is that asking too much from it? How are Uragan triggers? The Uragans seem to have really good efficiency.
