Anyone getting a Saxon?

Anybody getting one of these? Ddransoml tipped me off that AOA is accepting reservations and they will be in probably March sometime. I spoke with AOA and they are only getting 15 rifles. So thats 15 total for the U.S.....forever. Apparently there are only like 4 left to be reserved.

I love the look and while aesthetics are an important characteristic, I won't pay that much more.

Now, if it were an Air Wolf MCT in .25 with overall length of 40-41", 7.5 pounds, .25 and with FPE of 45.....You bet!

I came pretty close but, it's just too far out of budget. I really like the looks of that LDC they put on it.

Looks like Daystate is building a RAW, but magazine-fed and bolt action instead of side lever. Not that exciting. I'd rather have a RAW. I don't like that "Limited Edition" BS either. I don't like it from Nintendo, Disney, Toyota or anyone else. It's just a trick to try and screw people out of extra money for a little cosmetic thing here and there.

I had one reserved but backed out. Too much for me since I already have a hilite in .22 that is superbly accurate. I spent the money on a new bike instead. If I didnt already have a wolverine.........then that would have been a different story.

Daystate makes so many "limited edition" guns that the collector value is limited. It might be a long time or never before you can recoup your investment. When I buy an airgun I look for value and not bling.
