Anyone ever try....

I don't own a compressor. Still using hand pumps, but having the link above *might* help you get more replies? (grin)

At some point in the future I may *need* a compressor, so I appreciate your question and will follow this thread.

Thanks!

I don't have a compressor yet, but also am shopping & debating on these V-cylinder models. From what I've gathered here & elsewhere, 1) they're still budget compressors, so QA will be hit or miss; 2) they tend to run somewhat quieter than in-line cylinder models; 3) they tend to fill tanks faster than in-line cylinder models. I *think* Tuxing is the actual manufacturer, so dealing directly with them might be best.

Veradium Air in Texas is supposedly the US sales/service/parts rep, but their website hasn't been updated in a long time. They have Tuxing "brochures" to view, but no prices. They also haven't responded to two emails I've sent in recent weeks. A few days ago, their website domain was for sale, but it's back up now - I'm guessing they missed the renewal payment date. If they're still involved with Tuxing, that would likely be a huge plus versus other brands.

Have you tried calling Veradium Air? 702-406-0200 https://www.veradiumair.com/about.html

Just a thought... (smile)

Yes, but I haven't had the time, and since my primary question was a price listing of several models, I figured it would be easiest to get that info in an email. I realize that VA seems to be a mom & pop operation, so they're very busy. Since I'm not ready to buy just yet, I didn't want to tie up their time on a phone call with someone who might not even become a customer.

and youll pay 5 times as much for that 'incredible' performance haha .. i certainly wouldnt ... yeng heng is fine for 275 smackers ...

Not sure where the "5 times as much" came from, as the OP's model is $410, which includes the frame. In an apples to apples comparison, the Tuxing V-cylinder compressor by itself is $380 vs. $275-300 for the YH, direct from Tuxing's website.

So, the reason I posted this: I've had the Yong Heng for a while now, love it. Got all the fancy filters, pumps and fans, so it works great. But, I figure, eventually it will need replacing, the dual cylinder jobs are only $100-200 more expensive and I have all the "other" stuff detailed above to put on it so why not shoot for more performance, assuming all is equal in the quality dept and it will last for as long as the Yong Heng has/will. But, I've heard bad things about all the Yong Heng "lookalikes" and not being as good. So I was wondering if anyone had any actual experience with these compressors.

Thanks

Chris
