Anyone ever order these?

was curious if anyone ever ordered the compression ferrules that are typical on all the AV, Tuxing, Yong Heng hard air line connections. I need a couple of these, and man I’m so close to getting my Lightning back up and running. All I need are these compression ferrules.

Tried calling PA, but as soon as I heard the recorded statement that all of the techs are busy, I decided to not go that route. It would be easier to just try and find them myself, I hope, lol

Tried my local automotive supply houses, local brake line shops, and no one has seen these. If they have them, like my local NAPA, they are brass and of course for standard brake line dimensions when these are metric.

Anyway, if any of you have ordered these somewhere, a link would be great, and you outright know the size, that would be helpful, too.

Thanks in advance

Ok so I am also needing to get those. They are compression seals and come pre installed on the tubes. Problem is the ones on Ali express seem like they are for the wrong model of Yong heng compressor than mine. Try the Ali express but if your like me you will still search. Bigragu please tell me if you find them. You have helped me before and I'll be sure to let you know if I find them first. Happy hunting. Maybe you could buy the ones that don't fit cut them off and reinstall on your tubes? Once more into the breach again my friend..... It never ends does it?

The Home Depot compression fittings are for water faucets and such, and are all brass made. The ones so far from Allie express seems the closest but are a two piece.

Im gonna try JEGS or SUMMIT. I’ve used these fittings before, they have a outer rim on one end that when you slip it onto the tube it faces upwards. When the female end of the fitting threads onto the male end the female fitting pushes onto that rim and forces it into the male fitting, crushes the ferrule and creates the seal onto the tube.

Ive also got emails out to Hatsan who sent me the replacement tube without the fittings, and also to Tuxing.

But I have a feeling EAGLEBREAK may be right, that it’s just best to order the complete fitting and not just the ferrules.

RADEN- for sure I’ll let you know, brother.

How about shooting Yong Heng a line?

Or just maybe order the lines readymade?

@ Chickenthief. Have you bought stuff from this supplier before? I have tried those URLs now and in the past and my anti malware software always blocks the site, stating phishing as the reason. @Bigragu. If you are going to order the fittings from AliExpress, be sure that the threads are the same. The ones that I found are BSP but the chances are so are yours but metric ones shouldn't be hard to find if that's what you need. Also, anything coming from China at the moment may be hit-and-miss because of the Coronavirus. There should be somewhere in your country that will have fittings for metric pipe. By the way, what you call ferrules are called olives here and the two-piece units are collet and olives.

Augie, If you know someone that has a little lathe they might be able to duplicate one close enough. I have one and would be glad to try it. Another option that is more costly is replacing it with a AV4500 tube from Pyramid assuming its the same. Actually on sale right now.

As mr.grimm found maybe these..

If you decide to go with the AV air tube I have a few extra (don't ask how or why). I will sell you one at a discount. PM me if interested. I have a Tuxing twin cylinder compressor and the AV air tube fit fine. I just had to bend the tubing to line up the fitting connections. Remember don't overtighten those fitting, 1/4 to 1/2 turn past snug. The ferrules from belmetric will work fine just order the size for your tube.

My tube has been replaced, it was the tube that went from the top of the gold filter tower and on down to the top of the aluminum block that the fill whip is connected to. Yeah, hatsan replaced the tube, but I guess forgot to send me new seals for the fittings, lol.

Im gonna try those belmetric ones, and thank you Mr Grimm. JKing says his is a 6mm tube, I better throw a caliper on mine to verify first, but I’m almost positive it’s the same.

Heres a question- what’s the best way to remove a worn or damaged ferrule from these tubes? Tried the vice grip and spin thing, and although the sleeve will spin, it’s not heading out towards the end of the tube, lol. Any methods any of you have tried and left the tube unscathed?

here was the leak point that prompted a new tube replacement-

Sometimes you can luck out and find YH replacement pieces and parts on eBay.
The only other route I know of for things with oddball dimensions/sizes is either Fastenal or Grainger.
I used to use both of those companies back when I had my custom shops.

Other than that, Alibaba / AliExpress are the only other two sources that I've seen YH stuff on.

Guy at Hose and Fittings didn’t have the proper ferrule for these high pressure lines, and as I was leaving he called me and gave me three of these type ferrules, and he strongly feels it may work. I told him the application, and he said it should be ok. On my pics, the one to the right is what comes when you buy the complete fitting, and the silver one to the left is what he handed me to try. I’ll keep all posted on this tread if it works.

If not, Raden1942 was kind enough to instruct me to Allie Express where I could just purchase the fittings as a complete connection, with the proper ferrule in place.
