Anyone call/email fx usa about power plenum yet?

I'm happy to report that that FX has had a change in policy with regards to selling the kits. Initially, they said they would only do the installations, and would not ship the kits. It seems that the overwhelming demand caused them to reconsider selling kits. The current policy seems to be that they will sell the kit, but only after you speak with one of their techs. They want to make sure you know what you're getting into, and that you know the potential safety and parts damage risks. The price is $175 plus shipping, and they said I should expect shipment in 2-3 weeks. 

Thank you FX for a reasonably priced major upgrade!

Can you post proof? I wanna see the statement from fx. Not from a forum member. It would be good for those who want to buy it and install it. As for those who don't want to do it themselves they can still send it to fx.

I contacted FX two weeks ago, wouldn't sell the kit, only available through shipping to them or someone like UAG. Also quoted $300. If you get the order placed and parts, please post info.

Yep, that's exactly what they told me a couple weeks ago too, and I posted it earlier in the thread. They seem to have changed the policy. Hope they don't change it back :)

Does the kit only apply to MKII guns? Wondering if I can find an older one used and put one of these on it. If not...I guess I better start saving. I ended up really liking my dreamline, and have been contemplating getting an impact to shoot slugs.

I'm 100% sure it fits any impact from first to last since the valve housing diameter never changed.

Fredrik Axelsson's conscious must've been bothering him to sell this kit at a fair price now. $175 is a very good price for all those parts. .22 and .25 caliber will do well with the FX kit but .30 will have much better performance using the larger version from Michal Osyda in Poland which also fits any impact except the newest model.

$300 includes the labor which they’re obviously not charging to people who just get the parts only. $125 for skilled labor isn’t unreasonable depending on how long it takes to install plus the return shipping which was also included in that price.

I doubt Frederick had a crisis of conscience, considering the price was fair to begin with when you consider the total package. This is probably to help alleviate demand.

I was referring to him copying my design posted here 4-25-19 without acknowledgement... but FX has been way high on some parts.

Let me say way back late 2016 when I had my 1st FX impact after months of testing and making Videos and posting my finding and tunings I talk to Frederick about enlarging the plenum large enough for a .5mm cleaners from the barrel, then also mentioned about the off set mod/silencer of the edgun incorporated as a plenum if you want to see what results would be. At the time I was tuning Edgun matadors and installing the off se mod to older guns when 1st came out. Fredrick said sure will work on it months have pass with no word —- I said well let me design a simple tube plenum that screw on the gauge connections while I wait for FX. so I contacted my Buddy John Hagan to make me a long plenum and play with the internal volume to see the shortest plenum I can used without being to long and being an eye sore, this is the 1st I know of when the external plenum came around to this day there were about 8 modifications to the design. Sure Frederick didn’t like the design and wasn’t safe, soon after FX came out with mk2 plenum and still I ask for a larger plenum, with the high demand with the external plenum and winning some major events and soon after you see a lot of them around, with a large demand for a larger plenum from dealers Frederick had no choice but to design a larger plenum that is integrated and safer then the external plenum.

Years has pass and my idea work! I have the off sett plenum and the external plenum on my impact. I’m sure I wasn’t the 1st to think about the external plenum but I made it happen, sure I thought about the off sett plenum but someone else make it happen !

Yet we never heard a peep and Mr Rowe was working on other things until Mr Osyda copied my design. I also have emails from further up in FX that contradict that story. That's the beauty of emails, the sender can't change them.
