Anybody here from the old Yellow Forum days remember The Verminator (TV)?

TV used to write about his hunting adventures with his 2 R9 springers... Goldie and Brownie. He eventually teamed up with USMCShooter (Jamie) that hunted with a Marauder. I remembered that TV had a blog where he shared some of his hunts and did a search. I thought some of you might like to take a time warp back to those days and read about Ol’ TVs hunting adventures. Thanks for the link and I do recall reading TV’s hunting stories. I always liked the fact that he used a springer. He was an early advocate of Vortek drop in kits and at one point had over 35,000 shots with minimal loss of power on one of his R9s.

IIRC he had a terminal illness and passed away.

Oh man! Really?! I never heard that one. I remember when he was “taking a break” and didn’t know when or if he would ever be back. I assumed that he was just moving on to something else.


we all pass someday. Just sad to hear it if he has already. More surprised about it I guess. I sure did love reading his hunting reports.

He'll yeah, he was a shooting buddy. Miss him a lot, he was a mess, but aren't we all?

I seem to recall he moved to the Orient, could be just old age though.

Sure do-I would have loved to have seen him shoot. I remember him selling off his guns due to health problems, he kind of inspired me to get my R9.
