anybody have any experience with the UTG line of bipods by chance?

I don't have a lot of experience with bipod's but I purchased the UTG Recon 360 about 3 months ago and am very satisfied with it.

I have a UTG TL-BP20Q which I am very happy with it was @ $50 if I remember correctly but the one a Pyramid looks nice for the price.

I have 2 of them. I never owned anything else but the utg serve the purpose. The legs aren't completely stable but I'm satisfied with both mine. 

I also have the Recon 360 and love it. The side tilting and panning makes a huge difference coming from a fixed bipod. I got mine off amazon for under $60 I think, and it came with a swivel stud mounting kit. 

These are the ones I'm using on my guns, I have two mounted and waiting on the base for my FX400. I really like them. They don't tilt or swivel but each leg is adjustable and lockable.

I have a recon 360 and don't like it at all. The 360 feature makes it tilt baockwards because of the weight of the rifle. This makes the 45° leg position into more of a 30° and way too low for ergonomics. The only reason I bought it was for the 45° leg thingy and that was useless... For me it was wasted money

I originally had it attached to a FX Royal 400 .22 with a picatinny rail. I then went to an Daystate Wolverine B .177 with a picatinny rail. Now I have a FX Bobcat MK2 .22 with another picatinny rail.

I like having the picatinny rail because I also have a sitting bipod for practicing field target.

The UTG Bipod is great and easy to use and adjust.

I have one. They fall into the category of "ok for the price". 

As far as bi-pods go, they aren't good but they won't fall to pieces on you either. By "good" I mean stable. If you are planning some precision shooting, I would look elsewhere. If you need something to hold your Marauder or AT44, they're fine.

It doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles of the expensive ones, but it was shipped for free in 2 days and it works on all my guns. My only complaint is that it isn't very tall. The legs only raise it by about 1"(2.5cm) when they're extended.

Looked at the newest offering at the Cup and it felt great. You gotta like David Ding.

I have one, and if my memory serves me well, I paid $21,95, and Prime from Amazon. If I had it to do over, I would have spent the extra monies to buy one which tilts. After all, you can't always find an even surface to shoot atop. 

UTG recon 360 is really the way to go. You can tighten and loosen the tilt and cant so this bipod works great and feels very sturdy and firm. It is one sweet bipod. Once you have had a bipod that you can cant and tilt you won't want to go back to a straight leg bipod.
