Any updates on the FX Dream Tac Compact?

The official site has updated that page several times, indicating the release of May, then June and now August.

I have a feeling we won't see anything until Fall. Airguns of Utah also mentioned something about the whole FX company takes an extended vacation during the summer; which affects production, of course. But this is just's hear-say.

Well hopefully after their vacation, they come back refreshed and not skimp on QC when they start building these guns. I really hope they use the bigger shroud and not the one Matt Dubber has.

As regards to the bigger shroud, we have nothing to worry about if the final product reflects what is shown on the official FX Airguns Site. But then the FX Official Site has already pushed back the official release date 3 times already. IMHO - They've should've just said Fall 2019.

I keep looking at other PCPs but keep coming back to this one. Agree it needs the shrouded barrel shown on the FX site and the gun looks goofy without it in the ‘Matt’s Review’ link above, where he even notes it’s pretty loud at higher power settings. It may look even better, and be super quiet, with the shrouded barrel and a suppressor! That multi adjustable folding AR stock and the removable bottle are very nice. Also first review of the new magazine looks promising. Thanks for posting that review link! Definitely waiting for this gun.

nice reivew. i did not like 48 yard accuracy. what does that 2 holes mean?

I'm starting with 22. I might later get the 177 kit. And depending on that, move on to the 30.
It depends on what do you intend to do with it.
