I am curious about using those pellets at low power settings with my FX Indy .22 at short ranges (<50y). If you've tried them with an ST barrel - could you please share your thoughts?
I know the standard answer - buy and try on your gun, but as always, I'd rather not waste time and save a few bucks if others have already tried, and the verdict is clear
I tried a magazine of 13.43s, which were in the PA's JSB sampler kit, and they seemed to do fine on my tiny backyard range (17 yards or so), but curious about a bit farther distances. One thing I noticed, though, was that loading them into FX's self-indexing mag was not as smooth as with domed 18.13s or 15.89s - nearly every pellet got stuck going in - I had to use smth like a toothpick to push them all the way in. The very first pellet (one that has to go skirt first) was particularly finicky.
I don't have any of 14.3s (sampler does not have them), so doubly curious about those.
