Any takers on the Impact compact mk2 ?

I must say I was amazed at the numbers published with only a 500mm barrel, also the reg at 145? I thought the idea with the PP was to have it around 100? unless the reason is you need to go to 145 to get any reasonable speed?

in .30 Cal, 105 is the standard setting on the reg for a 700mm barrel. The shorter 500mm barrel means more pressure is needed to achieve the same speed that you get from the longer 700mm barrel. Hope that clears things up

One thing i think most current impact owners would love as an option is to be able to buy the 500mm barrel housing (sleeve) and shroud seperately.

I have a 700mm in .22/.25/.30 to make any of these calibers able to use the 500mm is simply the 500mm sleeve and shroud for it and of course the short liner.

Please don't make people buy whole barrel kits to make their impacts compact. When all they really need is a few parts. We already have barrel inlets, barrel connectors, probes, liner retainers and can swap parts over as we see fit. Please make this an option fx.

How about a Impact Continuum, 700mm & 580cc + 500mm & 300cc in the one case.

Barring that (or as another option) how about putting the 580cc on the 600mm and 700mm Impacts as standard, and while your at it sell it with the slug liner as standard, (slugs are the new, erm, pellets).

If it helps prod you (FX) along, I hear Daystate are considering putting a 580cc on the Delta Wolf,😈.

I was considering getting one. Then I stumbled on Gerhards social media page (don't remember which) and got to see some pics in his hands. That is when I realized it is actually even smaller than I think I would want. I think the 600mm would be plenty compact for me and my purposes. When I feel ok to spend some money again, I am probably just more likely to by a 600mm barrel kit in .22 to scratch my itch.

Yes as I thought many thanks, I will maybe just get a 500mm .30 liner then and a 300cc bottle when availible as I am really after a RED or BLUE BREECH block IMPACT.

Unless the IMPACT COMPACT can be ordered with a coloured breech?

I agree 100% with GC, make these parts as easily available as buying a liner or magazine to compliment FX's very versatile gun. Bummer having to spend $400 when you could buy the needed components for half the price. Example, I have a complete set of 22, 25 and 30cal 700mm barrel kits for my Impact. If I wanted to try a 600 22cal just the outer tube, a liner an maybe a shroud would be all I needed. Another example, I have a 30cal Crown but have been thinking about trying a 22cal slug liner. Since I already have the main component from my Impacts barrel systems all I would really need would be the 600mm liner of my choice and the outer barrel tube. Like I said it would just make the FX's system even more attractive.

Please consider....
