Any one in the USA running the 220v Yong Heng?

I believe the 220V units are wired for 50hz which will cause the compressor to run faster if your local power is 60hz. Maybe not a good thing for these as they spin fairly quickly at 60hz. Good luck with your purchase and keep us posted on how things work out. 

I have been running the 220 volt unit for 3 years now. Bought it June of 2017 and it still does the job. I bought it in 220 for the auto shut'off but that never worked right from the beginning so I just disconnected it. It has been a great pump and I want to go thru it and give it some TLC so I just got a new 110 volt unit to use while I do that. Having the 220 unit has been limited to only use at my house at just the 1 220 volt outlet. With the 110 volt you can run it off a 12 volt battery with an inverter out in the middle of nowhere if you need to. " Do not be afraid if the YH!"

If your pump comes wired for the US type 220 V power supply with two active (hot) pins, you shouldn't have any problems. If it is wired for the rest of the world type true single- phase 220-250 V supply it may be possible to rewire a new plug to suit your outlet. 220-250 V single-phase outlets in other markets only have one active (hot) wire. I have heard that others have been able to successfully wire up a local type plug and run their compressors without problems. Perhaps somebody that has done it will pipe in with the details.
