Any luck with slugs in Cricket .25?

I have some VK 32.8 gr and some Nielsen 29 gr slugs that I have been shooting in my power tuned Cricket .25. It is so close to shooting acceptable with slugs but I wonder if I need to change up my reg pressure. It was set at 126 bar and slinging JSB 34 gr at 925-930 and can go higher with just hammer spring adjustment. The Nielen 29 gr are right at 950 fps and shooting pretty good but I still have a flier or two out of twelve shots.

Just wondering if I need to up my reg pressure or not. Or try heavier or lighter slugs. Both the 32.8 gr VK and 29 gr Nielens shoot about the same . Really hate to tear into it since it shoots so good with pellets but I wanted to try slugs and see what it is capable of. I did remove my barrel and polished with JB bore bright so I could start out fresh. It took about 40 shots before it settled down and started grouping decent .

Here are a couple pics at 35 yards which is too close I know. Just want to get it as good as possible before testing further out.

Sorry pics aren't in order but you can see the groups start to tighten up the more I shot.

I've shot a sub MOA 5 shot group at 200 yards with a stock .25 Cricket before. 1.75" actually. Dead calm air obviously.

Held for wind-age and shot 4 at the can on a stake. Then 2 at the 2x6 Cedar block, that pasted clean through.

That was a 31gr. Rat Sniper Slug @ 886 FPS from a stock Cricket that showed me what a they can do when all conditions are right.

I would say YES to - Any luck with slugs in Cricket .25?
