Any idea when the JSB pellet shortage will be over?

Yep, about the time people quit buying pellets faster than they can be made.

Well atleast the employees of Jsb are getting some ot pay! I just hope the managers/owners arent pushing them to hard. I give it 6 months to a year. 

Between the truck driver shortage, the 10’s of thousands of shipping containers sitting off the coast waiting to be unloaded, and the sheer demand, who knows. I noticed some AA pellets are available again on PA, which makes me ask what priority or commitment does JSB have to produce other labelings and their own? I would guess since they also produce the other labels they are spreading out the production and can’t just make the JSB branded pellets first before any others. In a word, contractual obligations, but again, thats my speculation. 

I suggest you start trying other brands, H&N for a start, I did a thread on it just a week or two back that they may be on of the few companies that can cope with the demand.

I ordered some .22 Polymag shorts back in early February. Not sure when I might see them. They have been on backorder since the Carter administration.

Joe did an interview with , I believe arken scope and they figured end of 3 quarter shipping would be at or very close to normal. Which is September. China- Czech Republic , it’s all international trade. SSDD. Lol

I placed two separate orders from Krale in Europe. Ordered on Mondays & had in Oklahoma by Friday. Shipping looks high but with exchange rate was cheaper than if ordered in the states. Just an fyi. 

What shortage?

Boy, I have been seeing similar posts for a while now. I am glad I cast my own in .25, .30 and .357 calibers for pellets and/or slugs while holding on to my retail collections until this passes by. Supply verses demand is my guess as to what's happening…Hopefully not government induced…

Blame covid. I'm still trying find where to buy toilet paper and using my shirt to wipe my ass.

I don't understand why people, in general, haven't been buying ahead of time for the last year. It was painfully obvious after the first month of lockdown supply was going to be an issue for some time to come.

I put a order in for some stuff with AoA this morning and Rich told me JSB pellets will be here in a few days, but H&N will be a while.

I'm going to have a huge order when this finally does end. JSB is my preferred pellet for all nine of my guns. Luckily I shoot four different calibers and have several tins in each caliber left over, but I've never seen my stock of tins get this low before? If it doesn't end soon I won't be able to shoot a few of my guns with the accuracy I've come to depend on.

I just ordered some air arms pellets Because I’ve been wanting to try them anyway.And then I have a few guns that like the H&N Better. Next pellet I’m gonna try is going to be the Daystate when they are available again.At the moment only place I can find them is in England and the shipping is outrageous.

If you guys want to increase your chances of getting your favorite pellets, I suggest you pre order them, if your favorite seller does that. You're still going to wait, but unless the entire shipment is pre ordered, you'll get your pellets when the shipment comes in. You won't have to keep checking to see if pellets are in stock. With the low supply and increasing prices, I would order as many as you can afford, so you don't have to keep ordering. I don't see things getting significantly better in the near future.
