So I was shooting the crosman phantom springer this am and nothin was hitting paper. I went to adjust the scope and the windage turret clicks but the crosshair doesnt move. Went all the way to one end and to the other end and nothing. Scope is a BSA essentials AR 4x32 AO. I have had it for a couple years and it has been on the phantom since day one with zero issues. 3000 to 4000 shots thru the gun. Any tricks to try or is it toast. If its dead im gonna need a cheap replacement or maybe just shot it open sights.
Any hope?

When a scope is mounted to a springer, its first thought is "I am living on borrowed time". I have seen some spectacular examples which lasted over a decade, but many (most) die within 3 years with heavy use. Exception, those which have the Diana/RWS recoil mount coupling them to the springer.
