Any high end PCP airgun in 22 or 25 are made in USA?

Rapid Air Weapons are made in Tennessee, American Air arms are made state side too. Then you have your bigbore guns also made here.

Crosman makes the Marauder in .22 and .25. The barrel on the .25 is a Green Mountain and most of the ones I have shot have been very accurate.

I finally got around to looking into a WAR gun and left a message last week with no reply. Should I take it that now is not a good time to hit Jim up with a order? Anybody know the current status?

Rapid Airgun is great, but I haven't seen any nice bullpup. Range shooting is good, not for hunting. Marauder, Airforce are not high end, they has long way to go. There are so many good companies making better airguns then USA, such as daystate, Fx, Brocock, Beeman and Edgun and even Huben in China is catching up. I can see "made in USA" going down in airgun industry. America now seem like to doing easy business with USD than making high end good stuff by themself.

You may also take into consideration that USA does not have firearm restrictions as the other countries do who produce better quality air guns.
If our second ammendment ever disappeared then I can bet we would end up producing the best most powerful accurate airguns in the world.

Thomas makes a mean .22. I've even seen them barreled in .25. It's about as high end as you can get for a USA made air rifle.

I would get a mrod in 25.these guys .that r low end.they r wrong.i have a 25.tund with a war vavle.its lights out.u can get hop up parts from travis.

Wicked Air Rifles is what I would go for. I love mine. The only airgun you'd have to hear from my cold dead hands!
@Technoman did you contact him via Hotmail account? His email doesn't work with them for some reason. I heard he's gotten busier with his actual job but still guess around 4-6 weeks on a build. That's what he quoted on a barrel a few weeks ago was 4 weeks.

Hey Dairyboy,
I just called him on his published number with a message pretty much saying I'm ready to order. I figure I'll grab one eventually. Been following some of your threads for a while.Did you ever get a slug barrel? My target is a .25 cal dedicated slug gun shooting one of Nicks slugs.

When dealing with Jim just remember that you are getting a custom rifle. He is a fine gentleman and excellent machinist. He is also one of the most honest guys you will ever meet. Anything you get from him is well worth the wait. He is that good.

I’m of the opinion that no one, anywhere in the world produces higher quality airguns than RAW and American Air Arms, neither of which are readily available because they’re not mass produced. RAW has been radio silent for a while (by design) and Martin has been working on some new stuff.. Accuracy of American Air Arms EVOL is on par with, or better than any other high end pcp. Granted, they’re not as sexy as a Daystate in the classic sense.. they’re built to be indestructible, high power hunting machines. BUT - good luck getting your hands on one! They’re taking steps to boost production and lower wait times as we speak though.
