Does anyone know of any FFP scopes that are reasonably priced? I'm looking for one with a nice reticle and illumination if possible that's focuses down to 10yds. Let me know if you do. Thanks!

Vector Optics scopes. They have different reticles. They are etched glass reticles so even at max magnification they are not too fat. They are thin so at low magnification they are thin but it's not bad. I started a post here about VO scopes. I will paste it in this thread.

I have three and love them. I got the 10-40x56 FFP and followed that by getting a 8-32x56 FFP and 6-25x56 FFP. The reticle is very thin. I had to get used to it because it almost blend into the target picture. They have different reticles, my personal favorite is the MP reticle.

Delta Optical ha a cheap made in japan FFP scope. 4,5-14x44 for 1525 polish zloty from militaria.pl add shipping and run through a currency converter. Not sure they ship to the states however. Focus down to 15m

I can second the Primary Arms 4-14. Excellent general purpose scope for the money. I have the ACSS Reticle version (there are 4 versions) If you want more power check out Athon Optics Thread. I'm still waiting for mine but by all accounts they are very good scopes for PCP air guns.

when you get your athlon; if you can get a picture of the recticle through the scope, that will help me decide to purchase or not. the reasons im holding off is the overall size/weight and uncertain of the mil xmas tree recticle.
one thing thing i dont like about primary arms scope with r-grid recticle is the center chevron. difficult to hold for drop and windage at close/medium range. just have to dial turrets for those closer ranges. not a huge deal especially after the zero stop mod.

I expect you'll find that vector, delta, primary arms and not forgetting athlon optics (how could we when 30cal promotes them every day without even having one) all come from the same chinese factory (which makes other brands also). I doubt if many of the brand label owners have actually visisted the factory, they probably fill-in an online 'wishlist'. In primary arms case they wanted a military stylee reiticle (butch, but rather impratical for modern peace time/civilian use).
They would be able to choose from a limited range of options regarding lenses, a wide variety for reticles (all etched), and possibilities for scope 'furniture' or turrets.

As I said in my original thread, I am not promoting Athlon scopes. I discovered them and thought they offered some great options for pcp use. Myself and some others here have simply been discussing them. I did not recommend that the O.P. buy one just check them out. A few members here have ordered and received them and the response both here and over at Snipers Hide forum have been overwhelmingly positive.

I believe 30cal never expected the thread on Athlon scopes to go on like it did. Having a scope with a life-time warantee at a reduced price has obviously started a buzz. 30cal has just responded to questions and comments. He is not the first to post on these scopes but he is a regular posting member who has added much to the value of this forum. I assure you he would certainly like to have his scope!

Delta optical is not made in china, what an insult. Please stop with your ignorance and actually learn about a brand before slinging mud. Delta is a polish brand with optics made in japan by light optical works that also make clearidge and certain bushnell scopes. Because the brand is polish it is cheaper to buy from poland making it one of the best value for money scopes out there. Just google around and you will see the praise for this brand. Including a test with a ton of scopes including march and S&B ad guess what? The delta was the winner....

Midway sells a BSA Tactical 4-14x44 FFP scope for ca $250. I have used one for several years and appreciate the ability to change magnification without having to recalculate holdovers.
