Any Experience with Daystate Pulsar HP in .25?

"bowwild"I'm intrigued with new Pulsar HP .25. It appears the longer barrel (like in the Wildcat .25 that I own) handles the .25 pellet much better. I love the Daystate electronics (I had an Air Wolf MCT .22). However, I like the smaller size of the bullpup. I'm wondering if this Pulsar HP in .25 might be the ticket for me?
Thanks

I think you should go back to the Air Wolf...... Far superior gun! Just joking, I'm enjoying your old Wolf.

I've been thinking of a Pulsar too, but I would wait until next year for the new Pulsar models to debut at the 2018 Shot Show. Daystate head Tony Belas has said in interviews that their guns are on a 3 year design cycle. The current Pulsar is now in its 3rd year which means it will get refreshed next year.
Maybe Tony will surprise us with a prototype at the Extreme Benchrest competition this year.

I'll have to check out the Daystate owners club, thanks for the tip. I don't like that I can't read the posts without registering but I'll have to suck it up, lol.

The price difference between the Impact and Pulsar Synthetic is close and they are both good bullpup rifles. The Impact has a higher shot count and is more adjustable however the Pulsar is simpler to use and there's less margin for error. I think it all depends on what you want out of your bullpup rifle really.

A friend (Derek, @eyeshot.25) has one and it’s a laser beam Routinely gets solid shots at over 100 yards. Last time I hunted with him I watched him shoot a gecko ? off a boulder at 101 yards, sitting on the ground with shooting sticks. He loves it... usually shoots the 25.4 grain JSB. Derek also owns a .25 Impact, but when we hunt rabbits and ground squirrels at longer ranges, the Pulsar HP is the gun he brings...

Sold my Pulsar few months ago not HP version just regular .22 and must say I think about buy another one

to compare

have two impacts but when I was shooting Pulsar don’t know how explain that this rifle make me sure my pellet reach target more like impact due maybe coz is more stable on bipod not like impact (rail is not so close trigger) and like Michale say electronic trigger working very very well

Toma,

Great photos of your Pulsar. Is it the Standard model? I have the Pulsar HP .25 in gray laminate and it appears to have a longer barrel than your gun (42 inches in total length. I do have what appears to be the same Huggett modifier on the barrel. I inquired of Darren at Airguns of Arizona and he insisted that I should be able to turn the modifier counter clockwise and remove the modifier but I just can get it off. I'm wondering if the modifier has been epoxied or loc-tite scoped in place. Darren insists that I need to put in a better effort to twist it off. My main concern is what to do if the modifier needs cleaning. I have a Omega Supercharger and a Omega 75 CF carbon fiber tank is on the way to me. I have a Daystate Wolverine 2 Hi-Lite and a FX Royal Boss both in .303 that are equipped with Hawke Sidewinders and I'm pondering buying another Hawke Sidewinder 6X24X56 for the Pulsar unless someone can suggest another scope.
