Any Brocock HP (magnum) owners out there?

I had the 22 magnum not the xr version crappy trigger to me bolt stinks and is very accurate with the 25 redesign I will say the xr version has a new trigger and side lever so I bet it rocks

Yeah, the bolt in the pre-XR series is a clear negative. Can you tell me more about the trigger? I have read that they're kind of heavy feeling but that was the worst I saw in reviews...

Bolt a negative? In relation to the lever on the XR maybe. The bolt action on both my Compatto and Bantam are smooth. Both guns have been awesome out the box. I got the Bantam to become my primary pester. But the Compatto has reclaimed that role. I haven’t had an issue with the trigger.

Have the Brocock HP, magnum in .22.

Awesome gun, yes the trigger requires a bit more effort, but I shot the best 5 shot group, at 50 yards, ever with this gun.

Like using power level 4 for 18.1 and max power with redesigned monsters.

Steve with AEAC, did a thorough review on the gun, you should take a look if you haven't already.

He also talks about the bolt and gives us a little technique on how it can operate more smoothly. Definitely took his advice on that.

I have an Sniper HP in .25. I prefer a side lever, but there isn't anything wrong with the bolt other than it being a little stiff. I've found that putting your thumb on the back when cocking makes it a bit easier and smoother. So far I've only shot the 25.89 pellets. On high power they're 970fps, next step down 940 fps. One step lower they're at 865 fps which seems to be the best accuracy. I have no problem with the trigger but I'm likely not as fussy as some others might be.

I have the Sniper XR in .25. Excellent platform. The trigger is adjustable, and easy to do. Mine came with a 1lb 13 oz pull - too heavy for me. I have it shooting at a smooth 12 ozs. I'm getting 42 FPE from the JSB King 25.39gr, Diabolos. Consistently shooting a solid 60 shots before it falls off the reg. It's a sturdy, solidly constructed rifle that is the perfect fit between a sporter and a bullpup. It shoulders well and has a nice heft and balance to it. The side lever is as good as my FXs and the total package is solid.

SPAW NEW OLD STOCK ONLY $999 I own a mix of 6 of these all bolt action Compatto Bantams and Sniper HRs they're all fine guns. Trigger mod works. GO GET EM MAV! Yo!

Well, the .25 cals were gone, so I just placed my order for a .22 :)

I have a good selection of JSB 18s and a couple tins of the JSB Monsters redesigned pellets. Can other HP owners chime in with pellets that are worth testing?

Thanks!
