Anti-airgun movement

Well, it seems I am back with another anti-gun movement story. Last year if you all remember I thrown off YouTube. Well, this year I guess it is my turn to get thrown off Weebly. For those who don't know Weebly is an online service which provides a shopping cart, and website plug-in feature so one can run a virtual store. Three years ago when I started Edgun West, Weebly seemed like the neat little company who gave great service. The tech support helped build my website and even commented: "these airguns look cool." They were fully aware of what I was selling. Fast forward about nine months ago, and I have an hour-long chat with the CEO of Weebly discussing how they could make the site better. At that time I was told that I was the most successful business on their platform. The CEO and I went through my website, and he also commented on how great the products looked.

That was then... this is now. About four months ago I was notified that Square had purchased Weebly and that the "experience would be so much better." Last week, despite having an email that I was allowed to be on their platform Weebly evicted me without warning. I mean honestly, they treat homeless people better than a small business owner. They disabled my site. I was able to talk them into giving me three weeks to migrate my stuff to a new platform. I called Tim, and he said ": don't worry I'll help. Thank god was there to help. There are a lot of things that go into moving your website, but one of the most important is your Google data. As a small business, I really cannot afford a large web developer to put a site together for me. I don't want to be in the same situation as before where some Liberal Silicon Valley company decides that a law-abiding small business is morally wrong and they are going to cancel my subscription because they want to push some social agenda. I don't know what has happened to us as Americans; we used to be Capitalist, now companies decide what political view you're supposed to have. It is frustrating and concerning at the same time. Well, my new website is awesome, we still have some tweaks to fix so in the next few weeks, please be patient, I promise this will be the website a product like EDgun deserves. I will not let Square or any other liberal company decide what I should sell legally; the one shining light is this is the USA still one of the greatest places to do business. Small Startups Like 3 step Solutions are more than happy to take the throwaway business that doesn't fit the silicon valley "approved product list," so even if your not an Edgun fan vote with your wallet, refuse anything that comes from Square, they can only win if good men do nothing.

I was actually reading something about PayPal doing the same kinda thing. Not sure of all details, so don’t want to yell FIRE at the movie theater, but it sounded a lot like what you are saying here.

It’s frankly mind boggling to me as an immigrant of a Communist country, how these people want to turn this land of refuge into the very same hell I escaped from.

Something big and huge sacrifices will have to be made, or we will forever loose what was built here by the founding fathers.

This is HORRIBLE! I spoke about this youtube offensive against air guns this last Feb. '18. Many of the people that I complained to did not even know the difference between an "Air" gun and an "AR". They are very ignorant people who don't take the time to even want to understand anything the don't understand. I'm sure this new CEO is a person that just group AR15s with just because they both have an "A" and an "R" in them. Horrible!

PayPal did the same thing to sellers of ecigs. I had a couple custom models makers I bought from who got kicked with no warning for selling a legal product, which also is the only thing to break a 40 year smoking habit for me.

It wont be any consolation to you, but my impression is that there is a large and growing anti gun movement which doesn’t distinguish between powder burners and Airguns, though out many developed countries.

Regretably worldwide “gun” violence does occur and in my own country Airguns have been involved in some shooting incidents. I understand why people want to eliminate the tragedy of gun crime but in the process of advocating for tighter control over all gun types I can only hope that recognition is given to law abiding gun enthusiasts and their sport of choice.

I'm going to call and email Square Credit Processing company tomorrow and telling them that I want to cancel my account with them. (I Don't have an account with them but, if WE all do it, and leave those type messages, I there is a possibility they may get them worried.)

We are all with you, Brian. If you have to resort to having to do everything by phone, we will still be a loyal Edgun fans no matter what.
