Another RWS Diana 52 project

I just picked up another 52
the guy who had it left it cocked for years and now its froze up
other that that, it looks in good condition and the lumber is really nice.
It is however missing the front sight.
Now I just need to decide ... do I fix it up and off it ...or do I make something special out of it

Before it went under, stockmaker GinB advertised a bullpup kit for the 48/52. I think such a beast would have been a lot of fun ( if you could get it cocked!).

I have a 48, but I don't shoot it much because I really don't need the power, and the thing gives quite a jolt when fired and takes some effort to cock. If I were to do anything with it I'd bring it down to less than 12 fpe and see how smooth I could make it. But I'll probably just end up selling it.

Scrane, that is one of the things I was thinking of... a 12 FPE springer and make it a benchrest gun, that would be an interesting challenge.

Anyone remember the Sheridan co2 rifles ? For some reason, I'm craving one of those. They were good guns.
