The title says it. I got an ATN x-cite 4K for Christmas and I'm using it. I read another thread where HEKK187 said he shoots squirrels with his .25 Taipan Veteran using Varmint Knocker 32.8 grain slugs. I also have a .25 Veteran so I loaded some 32.8 grain slugs and zero-ed the ATN and shot this raccoon last night. The Veteran shot the slugs at 740 fps. They were very accurate at my 25 yard zero distance. The slug did not pass through the raccoon's head. There was very little blood, just where the slug went into the head. The raccoon did a nerve dance. I don't remember hearing any noise of the slug hitting the raccoon. The Veteran has a SUMO moderator and is very quiet. Thank you HEKK187 for posting about the slugs.
