For price reference PA sells them for $249.95 at 8.8lbs. with the wooden stocks while oddly enough the 9.3lb. synthetic stocked ones are $299.99.
They must put lead in the synthetic stocks or what? and thought synthetic were made from plastic???

At that price you could afford to detune it if you want a more docile springer or just shoot heavy pellets through that powerhouse.
It is rated up to 1300fps folks. AT LEAST 10.3gr or 13.4gr JSBs are the ones I would personally use.
