I ate some curry goat one time at a Jamaican friend of mines party... after I left I couldn't make it to the bathroom fast enough.. and the meat was green.. maybe it was the curry but I've never eaten goat again.

Yes you are right in the age of the goat make a difference in how it taste, as yo can see the R5m long is about the same size as the goat, we try to shoot smaller/younger goats because they are softer (not so much chewing).

I’m running basically the same setup(sumo ldc) and pushing 34grn pellets close to 880fps. The 25 long is a powerhouse for how short it is.

Are those goats wild? Are they a nuisance like feral pigs where you can hunt them year round in California? Yeah, I said California. I love goat my dad use to make berria a goat stew growing up as a kid. Very tasty.

yeah these goats are wild & a nuisance. We has wild pigs also but I haven't gotten around to hunt them yet...but its coming.
