Another afternoon with my fav...

Being its Friday afternoon (for me anyway)... love spending time with my favorite gun (hw77). Each and every time, so satisfying to shoot; something about the whole process of shooting a springer.

Whats your end of week/afternoon fav?

Here's another 10m, standing/off-hand thru them peeps. Happy 4th y'all!

Small world, wouldn’t want to paint it! I had my HW77 .22 out today as well. A pleasure to own. I own several springers, all fairly new. They are all favourites in their own way.
Nice shooting. Love the laminate. Enjoy Crow

Awesome. Def with you on that... each child is special in their own way. Just don't ever tellm who's the fav right? Lol. Happy shooting :)

You have impeccable taste sir. Nice chootin too!

I guess mine would have to be an HW77K too.

I have this old Venom that's an excellent shooter:

But honestly I like my beat up old MK2 better. It's shorter, lighter, and at 12fpe it's just so nice to shoot. It just feels like an old companion. We are the same age, and both have our bumps and bruises. Maybe I just have a soft spot for honest old guns? Either way, this is the one I enjoy most out of everything I've had.

Nice ! Right on par with my RWS 34 in .22cal. with open sights. With my eyesight, luckily I might add.

@thumper Thanks. Man, stock on thay Venom is gorgeous! Yes, sir, at the end of the day nothing beats the love of these quality springers... no matter what new pcps or electronics/tech they come up with.

Id agree with that any day.

I've got some of all types, and recently even the "techno-lectro" kind. They are all amazing, but at the end of the day if I head to the woods I always grab a beat up old spring gun. They just work, and do it with class.

This is how I like to kick off my weekend. HW95 .177. She always puts a smile on my face.

I have that exact same rifle! I use the irons sights on it. It was bought some time ago and I can't yet get a fixed mounted scope to adjust to it (run out of clicks) so I just leave the open sights. It is very high velocity compared to the R9, HW98, HW97K-T .20, and a couple of HW35Es in .177.

In short the rifle is the best open sighted rifle for power and equivalent accuracy to the R9 or HW98 or HW35E's in .177 Blue and Silver.

It is a very handy rifle!
