Ammo Chase?

Hello All

New here, 1st post. I come from a competitive 6ppc centerfire background and understand precision shooting & making/loading ammo for that discipline. I want to wade into air gun and was wondering if the ammo chase is similar to rimfire where pellets come in lots and vary significantly from lot to lot? Is there weight & size sorting within lots as well? I have not decided on a gun yet, I have been giving the Air Arms S 510 SX a look. Not looking to do a whole lot of competitive shooting, but I am kind of a small group junkie.......Thank You for your input. Looking forward to learning.

Regards

Rick

You don’t hear enough on this forum about the AA 510 series rifles, but I have two of them in my collection of now close to twenty air rifles, and my 510 in .22 would be the last to go. Deadly accurate, super quiet and with the Donny FL Sumo moderator, and trouble free for more than a decade. These are rifles you can totally depend on in every regard and pass down from generation to generation.

Mine has accounted for squirrels, groundhogs, crows, raccoons, and countless starlings and targets.
