American made PCP

AZBOBCATLOL yeah I'm going out and buying 1 million dollars worth of machines to build airgun magazines in my garage. Come on guys.
These machines each make over 100k a month.
Once I iron out the details with Michael on this forum I may spill the beans. In the meantime please continue to doubt and tell me how I can't do it and it will never happen.

Haha! 100k a month. Better than investing with Madoff.

I believe it can, and WILL be done. There is nothing extraordinary about airguns from a CNC machine's point of view. The high prices we pay are simply put, niche market prices. The most expensive air rifle/pup/pistol you can name costs less than $150 in time and material to build when it is mass produced........however...........this is a niche market and will not be seeing the sharp decline of pricing that we'd like to see. We're paying the bill for the r&d work that has gone into designing these modern airguns, it's being tossed right on top of what the gun would cost in a standard market. The bottom line is that of you can't sell a lot of something at $5 profit to make your money, you need to sell a few at $1400 profit to get the same end result.

I've already been warned that I cannot compete or "undermine" as it were, major sponsors. I look at it like this,.....even if I wasn't the one who first made mags for you guys, somebody else will...........eventually China will. In all reality China is probably almost ready to drop a copycat gun on us with $12 "mags a plenty" any day now. As a very wise computer program once said " It. Is. Inevitable.". When a market grows, so does the amount of mfgr's looking at it. First it's a couple companies, then it's a handful, then it's many,.......then good old fashioned competition takes over and we can all go buy a Top-O-Dee Line airgun from China and everyone will move onto mfg something else entirely because it's impossible to compete with them. Welcome to the new world.

ozone08@The_one. Good for you.

I would very much like to post some pics, I have a real nice pic of about 60-70 bodies in a vibratory de-burring machine that would be like a shot of Viagra®©™(just in case, lol) to you guys. They're all just tumbling around, sloshing along, lookin so purdy. I prefer the matte aluminum look myself, but I had 1000 of the bodies anodized the OEM gunmetal grey so that the really anal guys can still live with themselves.

"dodge3500"30 caliber,cf removable tank, regulated, bullpup with the ability to adjust power .:)

Ohh and the ability to change calibers easily.:)
Thanks
This already exist however there's a long wait list for it. Btw, I don't see the point of changing calibers. Pick a caliber that works for your needs. If you need multiple calibers, buy another rifle. In theory the ability to swap calibers is great but in reality, is it really? Switching calibers, re-zeroing, adjusting the settings and etc would get old real quick. I much rather have multiple rifles in different calibers that suit my needs. Expensive? Sure, it can be but it's not like these caliber change kits are cheap.

So just to sum up, you plan on making your own guns azbobcat ?? At today's standards level and at a fraction of the price of high end pcp's ??
I guess it's doable unless you're looking for profits =)
Would you machine your barrels as well or order them from CZ or LW ??
I'd be really interested but.... Well, İ live in France =(
So my suggestion would be, before releasing anything, make sure it works flawlessly (unlike some manufacturers) and then, expend to Europe and work with Krale in Netherlands so that I can order it ^^

My design stage is done and prototypes are being used, I am not a forum advertiser so you won't see any pics unless I can get permission to advertise. Will get a website up and probably debut it on YouTube. Not looking to compete with the big manufacturers, will not be taking deposits or waiting list, the only rifles and parts that will be sold will ship the day they are ordered and only tested complete products will be for sale. Keep an eye out.
The_one get it going buddy, I hadn't intended to make a business out of selling mags just wanted to be able to get people enough mags to go shooting, still can't understand why a manufacturer would include only a mag or if you are lucky 2. I intend to supply enough mags with rifle to get through an air charge. If these manufacturers continue with silly marketing you will see a lot more people bringing products to the sport.

so basically all your willing to say is its a pcp that will come in .22 and .25 and it has lots of mag's. Wouldn't it of been better to start this thread when there is something to show us on the forum, youtube or a website when you started the thread it sounded like it was just an idea and would like input and ideas now you say you have a working prototype.

Don't get me wrong it would be great to see a new independently built PCP but your being very very vague it would of been better to save this thread till you had something to show

Guys I'm not hee looking to sell them or anything I just wanted to see what you guys thought. I will not be showing any pics or making any promises until they are ready to go out the door, not taking deposits on something you don't even know when it will show up. I'm just seeing what you guys think about a new American made airgun. The promises I made of quality, price etc will all be fulfilled. Production has somewhat started but the prototypes need a lot more rounds through them and some good torture testing. I have already picked a guy on this page that will be getting to play with one of the prototypes. So if you made a comment before this post you may have a chance to put one through it's paces for a while.
