American made PCP

What if I told you that an all American made PCP of modular design so all you bought was the parts you needed and latter you could upgrade to different configurationst and calibers as you wanted for 50% the cost of those available today?. How about a no bullpoop warranty? Quality and accuracy of all the top manufacturers. .... not a single piece made in China....Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? And you would get enough magazines to shoot your airgun.
Something tells me it's not.....

Talk is cheap. Show us the products and pricing first. One, it has to look appealing. Two, it has to function properly (mechanically and accuracy). And finally it has to be priced within the market and live up to any hype.

Precision CNC manufacturing is extremely expensive. It's outsourced to other countries mainly due to labor cost. It's not to say China, Russia, Ukraine, Czech and other countries can't produce a superior product to a US made one. It's just much cheaper to manufacture there. As the designer, you specify the tolerances and oversee the quality control. Often times there are shortcuts made in the interest of profits but that doesn't discount the manufacturing abilities outside of the US.

So like I mentioned before, talk is cheap unless you can show us a working prototype. With everything you're offering (warranty, 100% US made parts, top quality and accuracy) this new product would be priced well above premium airguns already available today.

Your not pulling an April fools joke on us are you?:) I mean it just around the corner!

Don't get me wrong. I'm personally rooting for you if you're able to introduce another appealing option into the market but it's a bit premature to say the things you've said without providing pics of your design or have a working prototype. To spend the type of cash you're planning to spend setting this up, I'd get some valued opinions from well respected guys like Ernest and etc before you launch your products/ideas. It's a huge pot of money you don't want to toss into the fire.

Aerospace / Defence is where it's at. That's what my company does. I wasn't joking when I said we could probably cover $63k in a week. We're turning out parts made of plastic/aluminum/phenolic that are $100+/ea and we're making them by the dozens each hour. We have some other parts that we charge upwards of $15k/ea and they have about $650 in material and labor into them. Did you ever wonder why a commercial jetliner costs $200,000,000? Now you know.
