Amazing 100y groups featuring our very own Jimmy King

Schoofsbock, trust me they are real. The Wildcat is known for its accuracy. I've also shot lots of .3-.4' 50yrd groups and easy .5's at 60. With tuning help from Chuck here on the forum who can actually make these groups look like 75 yarders these guns really perform. On a lot of days it'll outshoot my Royale 500 and Crown as it did yesterday.

Kit, this is a MKI, none STX......yea!

Well if you don't believe the 100y shots, do you believe this one? There are 3 groups here. All three are 8 shots at 30 yards. The larger one is when the wind was blowing about 6-8 mph. The other 2 are 8 shots in one hole. The wind calmed down and the WC 25 went to work. This WC is probably the most accurate gun I have. And I have a RedWolf and a RAW TM1000 that have a very hard time doing this.

That is some real good shooting Jimmy! Thanks for your nod to me for my tuning advice but you are the man on the trigger...and thanks to Nathan for showcasing your Wildcat's accuracy even if you are too modest to do so. A properly tuned Wildcat or Streamline with an original SmoothTwist barrel will shoot groups like that almost effortlessly...providing the pellets are cleaned & weighed and man on the trigger does his part. The point no one has touched on yet is that at almost 60 ft lbs energy at the muzzle, Jimmy has right at 30 ft lbs energy left over at 100 yards...that is as much as most .22 pcps have at the muzzle! So any rabbits he runs into at 100 yards are definitely going to end up being rabbit stew for dinner. :)

For comparison only, I will show you a target I shot at 100 yards at Markham Park Range last Sunday with my Wildcat .25. My group below measured 1 1/8th", not as good as Jimmy's but my gun was shooting them at 915 ft/s versus his shooting them at 885 ft/s, which is the ideal velocity for 34 grain pellets to achieve their best accuracy.

Hey Crusher & Hawkeye, if you clean, weigh, sort, & lube your pellets you will get 8 shot one hole groups like that with your Wildcats at 50 yards no problem...just saying. Now you see why I haven't wanted to post pic of groups like that, because to other people it is just unbelievable to put 8 shots in the same hole like that. Once you do it though, it becomes addictive! It just never gets old seeing a glimpse of the pellets as they drop down the first hole one after another...

Although I have never shot the x liner I like the original barrel because its an actual thicker barrel rather than a steel tube like a brake line on a car. jmo. Nice shooting jimmy, I absolutely believe those groups as I know how accurate these smooth twist barrels can be.

The part I like is the thrill you get when you have 5 in one hole. And you think, "do I shot another? Or will it mess up this group". When you shoot those next 3 and they drop right in there. Now that is some fun there.

Hey Doc, that's not a bad idea, Team NM.. I'm really hoping to go next year, but I've been saying that for a few now.. I think I have everything sorted out so maybe it'll be a go.😊

Oh now Perry, I wouldn't go that far but I appreciate it. I was just wondering about you yesterday. Good to see your still out there with us and checking in.

Jimmy
