I have the same booster but mine had a catastrophic failure just before the 2 year mark. Altros would not honor the warranty to repair it. I have since bought a Hatsan Lightening Compressor, it’s 5 times as fast, it costs less than the Altros when you figure in the cost of a compressor to run the Altros booster and if the Hatsan makes it over 2 years it will have been a much better choice.

Did you factor in a high pressure air dryer or are you pushing wet air . They don't make refrigerated air dryers for high pressure air and the desiccant dryers Joe Broncato sales are for predryed nitrogen and solvents we use them in our labs I've been producing high quality air for lab use for over 20 years so that's why I chose the booster its slot cheaper to dry low pressure air than high pressure air in the long run lots of guys will be sorry the filled scba tanks with wet air @ 300 bar it's a disaster waiting to happen brother be careful

The Hatsan has an automatic purge which I set for every 15 minutes plus I have a high pressure desiccant dryer between the compressor and the bottle. When I was using my Altros I used 4 desiccant dryers on the low side and 2 desiccant dryers on the high side. The Hatsan is much more cost effective and the air is just as dry. With the Altros I used a 3 thousand dollar commercial shop compressor to run it at a continuous 140 psi and it was dog slow at filling bottles. Altros was great at free advice warranty support but would not repair it when it broke. They would not even allow me to send it back to them for repair. From now on if a company does not have support in the USA they are off my list.
