Once a year sounds logical, more often if you use it more.
I have the Omega filter and if I remember correctly that's what they reccomend.

I thought I heard 25hrs was the recommended interval, but I'm not certain. I am certain that my Coltri filters need to be replaced after 23hrs, so that might be accurate.
I like the idea of an annual schedule for filters in dry climates that haven't reached the maximum hours. I'd still check it in between for any mold or mildew though, these compressors produce a lot of moisture.
