Alpha 6 for $199 and free shipping

Just a FYI I am picking up boxes for gins and stuff shipped around Black Friday November to early to mid December All sent USPS Priority mail picked up in the last 2 days and got plenty more to pick up on Tuesday (Monday closed due to holiday) gotta bring my pickup truck they wouldn't All fit in my car only 1/4 of the 3 wagons full of rifle length boxes.

They normally take 2 to 5 days max Priority mail. USPS has lately been real slow to deliver. Some packages still do arrive in 2 to 3 days but lots take a month or longer lately so I noticed.

Search function and reading the OPTICS SECTION works.

How on earth can just this one post/thread have so many likes?

You can feel free to do a search keyword Alpha6 or Alpha 6 or A6 using search function in optics section then decide for yourself but I like it way way way better than my $900 that I paid $425 Bushnell Forge 4.5-27x50 and $800 that I paid $325 Bushnell Forge 3-18x50 and $399 I paid $200 and and $230 Athlon Argos gen 1.5 6-24x50 BTR and $850 that I paid $500 for Athlon Ares 4.5-27x50 BTR 30mm and $650 that I paid $400 Athlon Midas TAC 6-24x50 and $999 that I paid $550 Vortex VIPER PST Gen2 and $1400+ that I paid $599 on sale at SWFA Japan Bushnell TAC 4.5-30x50 (Formerly called the Elite 6500) and $599 SWFA SS 3-15x42 and $649 that I paid $649x2 !!! MTC VIPER PRO with the ballistic turret that's useless past 20x even of it goes up to 30x due to extreme lack of clarity or inability to focus clearly and I have 3 of them so it's not an isolated typical Chinese scope reject defect since they all aren't clear past 20x.

Why do I have 3? Well I bought 2 brand new for $649x2 never openned their boxes for at least couple months so return was well past the return date then saw both milky past 20x then used as 5-20x scope then bought a "used" one for $200 New in box never mounted from a seller who couldn't sell it with good conscious based on how terrible he thought the glass was. He told me he potty whoever buy a it but was assured I already know how crappy it is past 20x and for $200 shipped I won't hold him liable just like the $399 Discovery HD 30mm 5-30x56 that I paid $200 shipped (condition- NO returns!) that's not clear past 17-18x such a terrible terrible terrible scope!!! Beware just because some of the Discovery scopes are decent some belong in the trash. The $399 34mm Discovery HD 5-30x56 isn't even worth $150 shipped IMHO it's ok from 5-17x and weighs a lot. Better off with the $60 Aliexpress version at least it's clear past 20x.

I put it on my Crosman 1377 pumper carbine and use it as a 5-20x which I personally feel is worth $200 shipped for the VIPER PRO 5-30x50 with that the Alpha6 absolutely smokes it silly hands down.

Hey Friends, I just wanted to share my thoughts and experience with Alpha 6 optics. I had purchased the 4.5 x 27 x 50 mm scope but upon arrival I was concerned that the reticle was so fine that I would be unable to use it effectively and in fact intended to return it. I ordered a Vortex as a replacement. After receiving some information and comments from Odoyle I decided that I would give the Alpha a try. Well I installed on a brand new LW barreled factory regulated Marauder and put it in service. I quickly realized that (as seems to be the norm for Odoyle) his information was spot on correct. The scope is clear and bright throughout the magnification range, the AO markings are spot on with my measurements on my backyard range which goes out to 300 yards. After a few shots to dial in zero at 25 yards I was consistently shooting Aspirin tablet sized 5 shot groups at 25 yards and just over 1" 10 shot groups at 50 yards. The illumination is bright when needed and I found that the fine reticle in fact seemed to allow for more precise shot placement on target. I think I could shoot ants at 25 yards with the clarity of this scope. Needless to say, the Vortex will be returned. Thanks Odoyle for sound advice! I would like to install a wheel on the AO knob for ease of adjustment and would appreciate any information on finding one. I am new to the PCP world and am loving the quiet, vibration and recoil free shooting of this platform. More rifles to come! Thanks Odoyle for the sound advice!

I just got a reply on the shipping for my Alpha6 about why they say shipped with a usps # but usps has not received it. Reply is below so I am going to just wait and watch.

Hi,

Processing time is typically 2-4 business days (Monday-Friday). With the increased demand of products, processing times have been extended up to 7-10 business days. Please note we are closed on Holidays including Monday, Jan 18th in observance of MLK Day.

My scope arrived yesterday. I must say I am not very impressed with the shippers packaging. The scope box was just placed in a plastic bag. Other scopes I've ordered have had the scope box placed in another cardboard box with packing material. There is some visible damage to the scope box, hope it is ok. How have you guys received your scopes in the past?

Hi,

I apologize for the extended delay. We experienced unexpected circumstances that were out of our control. Your tracking number may have already been assigned without any movement. We are doing our best to get your order shipped out by this Friday. Please note that USPS is also facing delays, so your assigned tracking number may not update for a couple of days after it leaves our warehouse.

Ordered on 1-13. Received today. No damage to shipper bag or factory box. Already mounted and sighted in at 50. Actually sighted it in at 40 this time. Puts me dead-on at 20 and 40 with +1/4” at all yardages in between. I would say 80% of my shots are in the 30 to 40 yard range. Now I don’t have to hold under for most shots. This is a heavy scope. The SF wasn’t very accurate. So I put a large wheel on it for more accurate yardage measurements. I do like the lighted rectical. Would be nice to have a color other then red. But they got the off settings between each brightness correct. I hate having to twist through all levels to turn the light off. I would like to get a 1/2 moon sf wheel for it. The one I have is stupidly large.
