I went out yesterday to cut walnut for the fire pit n brought my .25 boss. My buddy was cutting n I was splitting, I filled my bed in about hour n thirty.
We left n went to a spot, squirrels n bunnies running before we could get off. We walked down about 100ft n sat in the brush. I ranged where it was hot 54, 65, 72, n 80yrds. We'd been sitting n talking off n on for a good 45min, I was ready to pack it up, when this guy hops out.
I sent a crow mag from 52yrds n hit him high in the shoulder he rolled n started to crawl away, n then stopped. Good for me, sent another n hit him in the back of the skull, lights out. I was lucky to get a second shot off, I hate when I miscalculate n wound. I thank the hunting gods, for not letting him get away. He's a healthy bunny, I dressed him out n will fry him up for a late lunch. Keep pesting n stay safe.
