Something ive been thinking about, the airforce Texan 45 likes a long bearing surface bullet for long range accuracy which is fine for Deer 350-410 grains and will work for coyotes with a lot of Kentucky windage. Has anyone tried a bullet of the same dimension out of an alloy that would give the same bearing surface at say 150-180 grains or lighter. Thanks, Jeff

Maybe a copper bullet? Here in California lead bullets are not legal to hunt with. A powderbuner friend of mine has been having very good success with copper bullets.
