She love sewing and quilting and old machine not working good so I told her to get a new one. I have had a lot of cars that didn’t cost what this thing did.

Happy wife happy life. Just think of the wonderful tank bags, range bags and compressor covers we could buy from her... if she's so inclined.

Screw the wife - her fault she get scammed out of $80k this year - that hurt, a lot. I got no savings left, no dignity as a happy husband and life generally sucks - but go you!

I divorced mine 30 years ago because she wasn't a good mother. She left me some wonderful sons and mailed me a child support check every week for 18 years to remember her by. I never tried marriage again but it's a beautiful thing when you have the right woman. You can let it eat you up inside or you can move forward making the most of what you have. I promise you being angry will not make anything better.
We are successful at life when all we want is all we need.

Not to fear I got scammed out of $375,000 by my niece. I was a bit uneasy but thought she could be trusted with the aunt's estate. I was just recovering from an assault that left me near dead, and with a serious head injury and brain damage, I felt I was unable to take on the task at that time. I'm in the same boat as you financially now with little savings but no wife to share the that with. She ran off and left me with two preteen daughters to raise on my own decades back.Â
Life happens it's all about how we decide to deal with it that counts.

You beat me to it Heavy. Opposite minds can still agree sometimes (your avatar). And I can commiserate with your ex issues. Mine gave me a beautiful daughter I’ve been raising alone for 7 years, plus the 5 it took me to say enough and leave. Best decision I ever made, and best kiddo I could ever ask for. WhoMe, if your wife decides to make money off your fellow obsessed hobbyists, I can use a new range bag, a new tank bag, a new day pack, and a new 3 day pack. Just for starters.Â

I purchased this tank bag from a forum member that no longer makes them just to give your wife an idea. It's just a heavy fabric bag with 1/4" dense foam on the inside and a draw string at the bottle neck. It does have a nice rubber handle. 74cu/ft tank inside.

This is 1 of the many quilts my wife has made.
She has 1/2 of the basement as her sewing room, the machine that puts the fancy stitches on the quilts is 4’ x 14’ and will do a king size quilt.

JamesWol that like telling a Daystate or FX fan boy to buy a DAR and tell him it’s better. She sews/quilts 6 days a week and loves doing it, I will support her in her hobby. We looked at many machines but she likes Bernina as she has 2 already.

Nice machine, my sister is into sewing, and quilting big time. She is in a quilting group in Miss. that has won several awards, for quilts. She actually built an addition, a big room on her house for a sewing room, she has several of those high end machines, some specialty jobs. Several years back I copied a device that looked like a fancy wood coat hanger mounted to a board with a grid of holes, i think to align a shirt of blouse for embrodery

My wife makes quilts, some of which are Quilts of Valor for the veterans. One of them will be presented to a friends son who, I believe, was on the last soldiers flight out of Kabul. We will present it to him on 18 December, while he is on Christmas vacation.
