I appreciate the kind words!!

I have been into airguns for about 14 years now. Over that time I have never been without pumpers and springers, but have bounced in and out of the pcp world a few times. The past number of years I had been on a quest with pcp's to achieve consistent moa or less accuracy at 100 yards. After success was achieved, I spent my time hunting strictly with airguns and pushing the range as far as I could ethically push it. During this time, I did alot of airgun work for others and spent alot of time on the phone, emailing, and pm-ing folks to help them fix or tune guns.

As some of you know, I work for one of the world's largest defense contractors. My base specializes in ground combat vehicles. Our baby is the Abrams main battle tank. We designed it and we are the only place in the world that builds it. In a new political climate, our business that has been rather stagnant for the past 8 years is once again booming. With a large work load on the horizon, I knew that my free time to help airgunners was about to run out. So, I made a decision. Between my work schedule, meeting my airgun goals, and a desire to return my focus to firearms and gunsmithing.....

I sold my rather large airgun collection and minus my kids stuff, condensed my guns down to 2 pcp's, 2 pumpers, and 1 springer. I kept my big SCBA tank, Hill pump, and my compressor. This gives me plenty of air power to fend off pests around the house.

On top of all that, I have 3 young kids. 1, 5, and 7 years old. My oldest is my son and after turning him loose with a .22lr and .410 shotgun, he isn't all that interested in airguns anymore. This being another reason to shift my focus back to firearms.

Because I have made many friends on here and have called AGN home since it started, I figured I owed everyone a solid explanation. Didn't want anyone to think I just left you guys hanging!!

I am thankful for this forum and very greatful to have met so many cool people as well as help others. I try to check in from time to time and will try to answer any questions I get asap. Thanks again for the kind words!! There is one hell of a great group here and thanks for allowing me to call AGN home!! As a Wiseman once said.... "peace and pellet grease!!"

I'm curious. What 2 PCP's did you end up keeping?

I kept my regulated .22 Prod with AR stock and a .177 Maximus. I no longer care to shoot airguns much past 50 yards and both are plenty for pest birds and squirrels. Always liked the idea of 2000psi fills being easy with a pump, so that is the main reason the Maximus stayed plus I have tons of spares for it and a nice wood stock I spent alot of time on. The Prod has been my favorite gun for a long time and I swore I would never sell it.
