I bought a "used" Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic from AJ. He described the gun as "90% (conservative)". I received the gun and it looked brand new. He told me he used it for hunting, but I found it hard to find a blemish.
For unknown reasons, the USPS shipment took longer than expected to arrive. During that time, he kept in touch checking the status, and after I received the gun to check if everything was OK. He even tried to find out from the Post Office why the shipment was delayed.
I took it to a gun range and had poorer than expected results. I sent him a picture of my target and he immediately called me. He offered suggestions; he didn't disappear. I felt like the gun was good, and that the problem was with something I was doing. AJ called me several times to check on things. We finally figured things out, and the gun is shooting great now.
AJ kept in constant communication throughout the entire process. He didn't take the attitude that "It's your problem now, leave me alone." He was truly concerned when I initially didn't get the same results as he did with the gun, and wanted to help me figure out what was wrong. To me, that is the mark of a good and honest seller. His expertise with airguns was incredibly helpful. I now have a "new" gun, and a new friend. I will not hesitate to do business with him again.
