Airguns vs. Bison? | American Airgunner TV

Rossi meets up with big game hunter Steve Scott to hunt the biggest land mammal in North America…the bison! The airgun of choice for this hunt is the .50 caliber, Umarex Hammer. The crew scoured the terrain and landscape seeking the perfect shot opportunity. After a 25 yard standoff, Steve gets a shot! The Hammer doesn’t disappoint! Then we join Steve on a South African hunt as he chases gemsbok and wildebeest with the Hammer.

Crosman999 is right. Pbba or xp are 2 i can mention. Is it just the most powerful production rifle unavailable to the general public? Im not saying anything bad about the American airguner but its almost as if he only promotes his sponsers. As for the snowflakes crying about what game you hunt ie bison. Who cares? Animals are ment to be harvested. Dont shoot them in the balls to watch em dance but if they die quick and you eat them good.... That includes bald eagles. Anyone with chickens, cats, dogs under 18 months old, ducks geese etc... Know that bald eagles are jerks. Wish I could kill 10 a day. Prove me wrong.

You know the chosen National Bird was nearly the Wild Turkey long ago. That would have changed things in late November I suspect.

As far as the Bison .... they are not wild bison. The ranch raises them. You can thank the government for reducing the Bison herds from millions to only about 100 animals from which ALL American Bison are now descended!

*edit: This post intended to show the actual # of birds is not in the millions.

Raden1942, your feelings are YOUR feelings but have a little digression what you POST. The anti-gun sentiment public would probably use something like this to PROVE we're all into shooting anything & everything that moves! Bald Eagles were there LONG before you were. If they had opposable thumbs & a "dirty 30" guess who'd be the target? Kind of over-the-top if you ask me but I know you didn't ask me.

I dont care about the anti gun public and I am trolling a little here but anthropomorphising animals is stupid. Im simply pointing out with a little humor that animals are ment to be killed. The same people crying for the poor free range bison that died immediately from an airgun shot from an expert hunter will pooppost on here and virtue signal how much better they are for being against hunting will go to McDonald's and eat a hamburger from a cow that lived its whole life with no more than 10 feet to move in any direction living in its own excrement and pumped full of antibiotics and eventually hung upside down and nail gunned to preserve 10 cents of head meat. Im just tired of snowflakes. Kill whatever you want. Im done with this thread. Have fun telling other airgunners what to say, hunt or how to use thier own guns. Im out.

I believe you anthropomorphized 1st when you said "know that bald eagles are jerks". No, they're just doing what they do. No HUMAN jerk attitude behind it. Sorry you feel the need to be done with the forum. Did you REALLY expect to not get opposing responses to an (IMHO) over the top & vehemently expressed attitude? "Animals are meant to be harvested" is a subjective statement that's open to ethical, moral, spiritual & religious interpretations. Glad I, personally, don't see it as black & white as you. I'm no better than you or anyone else. I just have different guidelines I guess. I don't know you so I'm making no judgment call here but you sound ANGRY.

T3P, why did the US government reduce the bison herds from millions of animals to 100?
