Airgun Technology uragon

My thoughts are that it is a synthetic stocked Vulcan2 Tactic with a bottle on the front. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if that is exactly what it is. And the crazy thing is that unless something changes between right now and Christmas … I will probably be buying one. I have a Vulcan 2 Tactic in .25 and if the Uragan is anything like the Tactic, it will be a laser right out of the box. I've had my Vulcan Tactic for a year now and haven't done a darn thing to it except replace the breech seal. That being said, the Cricket in .25 is a beauty also, I just don't like having to reach all the way back to the rear of the block to chamber another round, but it shoots wonderfully with the power tune that I had Charlie Frear give in at Georgia Airguns when I bought the gun.

Have one in .30...nice rifle...balances well...good trigger ...accurate.. powerful...very consistent regulator...very good bullpup.

I have had mine for about 2 weeks. .30 cal. Not much to dislike about this rifle.

Pros:

- POWER, sick air reserve, Accuracy, build quality, best mags I've ever used (fit slugs too, cycle perfectly), COCKING, Tune-ability, Fully adjustable trigger, great feeling grippy stock, reasonable weight

Cons:

-Trigger is plastic. Feels very nice, great action, but still, plastic.

-Needs a moderator for back yard friendly, which makes it kind of long.

-Bottle gun

Misc:

-I have been told that the .30 Uragan has a LW barrel, despite everywhere I look saying it has a CZ. Anyone want to chime in on this?

AirgunTechnology has always been an under dog but in my opinion their guns are one of the most relaible. I have a Vulcan Tactic .25 since 2 years and it has never had any issues. Took it out for shooting last Sunday after it remained in the safe for about 6 months. Didn't loose the pressure during storage. and After one dry fire it was right at the velocity of 905 fps where it was 6 months ago.

PLUS the after sales support by Evgeny is really great.

For the OP, if you are considering to get a Uragan I am quite confident in saying that you will be very happy with it.

Not to contradict, but both the long barrel and the short barrel come with a built-in silencer.

And they should be plenty back yard friendly as is. I shoot my compact in the house (across the living room, and down the hall) and my two cat's sleep thru it all..! Beside, I don't know about the long barrel version, but the compact comes from the factory with an..."additional"...silencer in the parts box. Mine, is still in the box. I bought a short rifle on purpose, no need to make it longer.

Well, I can tell you the .30 long is NOT back yard friendly without an LDC... unless your neighbors are not uptight liberals and cool with it. I fired it inside when I got it and my ears rang, and I think the cats have been peeled off the ceiling finally. They do have a shroud, but still bark plenty. With a Sumo the pellet/slug smacking the target is definitely louder, but if you wanna go super stealth better get a Ronin or Emperor. And no, the long doesn't come with an additional LDC.

Is that a Tatsu on a .30cal?

Good eye @iralite Yes it is. The factory shroud does a decent job on the .30 but I wanted a bit of help for it. Didn’t want a Sumo size but did want the Tatsu. I asked DonnyFL to bore it for a .30 and he did. Donny and team’s customer service and products are just so good ~ they are tops in my book.
