Airgun Nation is dedicated to continuously improving the experience for everyone.  You’ve asked for some improvements & we’ve listened.  This morning we rolled out the first batch of enhancements to the forum.  Some of these changes will be obvious; others will be a bit more subtle.

One major enhancement that I’d like to point out is Airgun Nation is now offering image hosting.  That’s right, you no longer have to use a 3rd party photo app (like Photobucket)… Yaaay!  You can upload photos directly from your computer, tablet, or smart phone.  Just follow the 3 easy steps in this photo.

Note – you can still use a 3rd party photo app if you like. The default tab is “Upload”, but you can choose the “Link” tab and enter a link to any 3rd party site (step 2).

We hope that this enhancement makes it easier for you to share your pictures and stories.

@willie14228, I know! But hey, it was the bicentennial parade. I look like I have a stick up my @ss because I’m trying to touch ground with tippy toes. Worse yet, that’s my sister’s bicentennial bathing suit on my head. 41 years later, I’m able to talk about it.

When I took my now wife over to visit my Mom and Dad the first thing she did was start looking for that darn photo album,,,,,, For some darn reason she could not find it…
That one Cost me the biggest bottle of Johnny Walker Black I could find (hell it was getting close to Father’s Day anyway) LOL

Trophy for Deermans, Me and my Wife…. And Yes thats Scooby wanna make something of it…… LOL

For those that may not know this you can open your photo in paint, Click Resize then click size by pixels Resize your image to around 600 or maybe even less as long as you leave the aspect ratio button checked your bottom number will resize its self and your image will scale down properly…. and then save as whatever.jpg This will help keep posts from being slammed by very large pictures and help keep storage size issues down, The smaller your image the less storage it takes.
Both of the pictures above were over 1200 pixels which would have filled the whole page, I resized them down to 300 and you can see they are still pretty big.
With many forums its kind of an edicate like no ALL CAPS…. Keep the image sizes reasonable so the thread will be easier to read and scroll through.

It should be automatically resizing all the pictures to near 1mb or less. But the vertical picture still looks awfully big. I’ll check the hosting server later.

Neat! Fx Wildcat .25 with MTC Viper Connect scope in my squirrel woods.  I’ve replaced the tied on strap with self-installed swivel studs and strap. Easy to do, secure, and makes handling much easier.

Swivel studs and sling installed. I love this sling (green suede and brown leather).  I can’t remember what it is called but I bought 3-4 of them about 7-8 years ago from Bass Pro or Cabelas?  I replace the brass screws that keep the ends folded because they can damage wood stocks. I use rawhide lacing instead.
