Airgun Depot's Long Rangers

Hi guys,
Regarding the entry in the long rangers challenge I seem to remember that after submitting, a message came up saying one would be notified by email about the entry shortly.
We both put in entries for the 150 and 200 yards on August 30. Well it's nearly a week later and both my son and I have not received any email whatsoever. Since we're not living in the US I know that we we were not eligable for winning the Impact, but we do like to get our thophies in the form of the patches!
So how soon (if at all) were y'all notified of your entry in the contest and what did the email say?

Just wait awhile. They've gotta ship your patches outside the US. I wouldn't expect fast turnaround being they lose money on your entry. A buck or two between the patch and shipping. Those in the states have at least paid for the golf balls and shipping and this was originally intended for the US audience only...

Thanks for your reply, It's not the wait I mind (not at all) , as you give valid reasons for that, but I'd like to get some sort of confirmation of our entries, because like I said in my previous post, I seem to remember that one "would be contacted by email shortly". (or something like that).

And of course Airgun Depot is not really just losing money on it, as the Challenge generates a lot of buzz/ hype and as such "free" advertising for them as there is a flood of videos of participants about it on You Tube. So that is why they do it and figure they will benefit from (by getting more goodwill and ultimately more sales) in the end. 
Which I think is totally deserved anyway because they came up with this great idea and decided to market it, and the Airgun Depot video hosts (Jon, Cameron and the bearded guy) make awesome (and very funny!) videos about their products and all.

I don't recall whether or not they sent me an email confirmation. I don't believe they did but the patches just showed up. What country/continent are you in/on? If you don't have it by now perhaps hit them up with email or just call. I know you would love to receive your award. Very nice.

Hey guys, got my patch/sticker package, i got 1 main patch and a yardage sticker, what exactly are we suppose to get back from AGD? Also i got a 200 yard sticker, i did a 200 and a 250 video.

I only received one as well. For 150 yards. My youtube post got a comment from AGD on the 160yd, but NOT the 175yd. I have not received a patch/chevron for the 175. I suspect it wasn't counted as it was on Aug 30th.

I have an Airgun Depot golf ball with another one on the way. I'll give 'er a try with my RAW .357!

Nice. I did it with a .177. It would feel like cheating any other way Of course it took a good deal of shots and reading the wind but I'm happy.

Hey!!!, I got my 175 patch in the mail today. Yeah!

I submitted mine mid August and have not received an email or my patches.

That's it, and some free advertising across youtube for airgun depot. I don't mind I'm having fun with this.

We got our patches!
Unfortunately I think the stickers we're finished though, as there was only a sticker of the 200yards chevron in both our envelopes.

Unfortunately after all my hard work clearing my land and learning how to video edit and creating 2 youtube videos they told me they didnt enter me in the contest at all. Very upsetting.

What was the reason? Did you enter late or?

Between rain/wind a bad storm that did a lot of damage I didn't get a chance to shoot for the contest but I'm still planning on doing the shots just to do them..
