So I'm sure all of us know that Airgun Depot created the Long Ranger challenge. I guess one could argue they make a few pennies on selling the golf balls.
Last summer I bought a pack of golf balls to give it a try. When they came in the mail my daughter opened them thinking it was something I ordered for her. She asked me why I ordered golf balls when I dont golf, so I told her about the Long Ranger. She was intrigued and much to my suprise, told me "I want to give it a try".
Well we did and she had a great time connecting with the ball after a few shots. I uploaded the video.
Within a day airgundepot sends an email asking what size shirts her and I wear, what pellets she likes to shoot.
After a few days she gets a package with several tins of 500 rounds of pellets, a shirt for her and I and her long ranger patch! What a great way to keep younger shooters involved in the sport.
So when it was time to get a new gun I "needed" this year, my purchase was made at airgundepot.
Very few businesses care that much about the quality of their relationships with their customers to that degree. Sure that 12 year old girl might not make a purchase for a few years from their site, but Dad sure will!
