Events Airgun competition, Riley Indiana

Anyone near Terre Haute, We will be holding informal 10M air gun competition at the Riley Conservation Club during the months of January and February.

We will be shooting on every Monday night. Doors open at 6:00 pm, shooting starts at 6:30 pm. We typically run 10 relays, so if you can't make it for the entire evening, that is ok, we will fit you in. We track the top 10 scores over the 8 weeks, so if you miss a week or more, that is not an issue.

Shooting is done from the standing position. Most .177 or .22 air rifles are acceptable, as long as they don't tear up the backstops. Lead pellets only. There are two adult classes for differing ability levels. Yes, we shoot indoors, so it is not too cold.

We also have an Air Pistol class.

It is a lot of fun, informal. Cost is $1 per relay. Eye protection is required.

If you have questions, let me know.

Thanks for this post. I live in TH, formally in Riley years ago, and am an avid air gunner.

I don’t think I am interested in off-hand competitions as I am simply not steady enough any more and already have an 18 yard finished indoor range.

I am really glad to see there are other air gun enthusiasts in the area.

I have been thinking about trying to learn more about Riley Conservation Club as my longest outdoor opportunity is currently 80 yards and I would like to have the chance to shoot some 100 yard (and perhaps beyond) bench shooting when the weather warms back up.
