Well fist off.I got into big bore air guns because I'm tired of buying crossbows using them for 2 yrs them breaking and throwing them away. I figured out how to repurpose the crossbow stockand all the good memories I had with the crossbow lol sentimental. Added a pictany rail for my dual usbpower bank 13500 mah battery power pack to power my scope and it light.

nice .. airforce shouldve done something like this years ago, their 'one' starwars looking form factor from the 80's isnt cutting it anymore lol ...

Very cool. I have been thinking about building my own stock for my 45 carbon fiber carbine. How did you connect and fasten the barrel to the stock? And most importantly how did you correctly measure the holes (alignment)?

I drilled a hole through the bottom of the pistol grip lined up with the main mounting screw on the Texan went to the hardware store and got a new bolt 4 inches long and grounded it to the correct length. If you all have a extra stock laying around or buy a cheap clearance stock give stock making a try for your texan

Wow! I got a .357 Texan Carbine with a small bottle. I've been trying to get a stock for it? This is a great idea! I'm in the market for a crossbow stock now! Thanks for sharing!
